After I smsed my guy, I looked up and saw the Ah Ma. I guess she have board the train at Eunos or even earlier. I'm not aware as I was reading my book and sms-ing my guy. When I saw her, we were approaching Kallang already. Anyway, the story goes like this...

L: Ah Ma, ni zhou.

Ah Ma: bu yong, ni zhou.

L: Orh, ni yao xia che le huh.

Ah Ma: huh huh.

After the short conversation, I stared on the floor blankly and thought...

1. Why am i asking her if she is alighting? Does it matter?

2. I should have just stand up and insisted that she sits down unless she tells me that she is alighting at the next stop. As what i've seen while travelling on the train, most ah ma ah gong would have say 'No'.

3. The Commuters that did not witness my offer will surely thought that i disrespected the ah ma ah gong. Humf!

And, after i alighted, the ah ma sat down. Haiya!

I felt so silly, guilty and uncomfortable after the incident. So, I comforted myself by thinking that the ah ma just didnt want to trouble me.

Well, things already happened. But.....I will know how to respond to sucha scenario when it happens again.
