Danny shared with us something interesting that he has learnt from his workplace -Super Memory Games! Ok, here its goes like this.....
1. Banana 11. aeroplane
2. strawberry 12. ticket
3. sylester 13. lubuan
4. MLTR 14. battery
5. animation 15. funeral
6. recovery 16. beautiful
7. pit-stop 17. isetan
8. soccer ball 18. yoshinoya
9. Man U 19. morning glory
10. scuba 20. orange juice
We were very impressed when Danny was able to memorise all the words positioning and vice versa when we throw in questions. And he got all right, mind you!
The tactic is to link the all the words together. For the first 1-10, he used sound to associate with the words. Which means, 1- bun 2- shoe 3- tree 4- door 5- hive 6- stick 7- heaven 8- gate 9- wine 10- hen. Eg, when asked the words for pt 2, he linked shoe with printed strawberries; given scuba, he linked hen (10) swim using scuba. Its all about how you create your story and link the word with he sound. As for the second 10-20, he used his own creativity to link...don't ask me how (hehe), its all about creativity and to use the best asset we had in our body- BRAIN! But the above are consider simple. I heard their trainer are able to memorise 100 of those very long words which would twist your tongue, especially those medical terms or indian names. And how they did was to link up into a picture, something like that..don't ask me how they do it?! hahaha
Perhaps I would give it a try and impress my friends too...haha (haolian right?!)
